Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 29, 2026

This policy explains what KESSARA, LLC ("KESSARA," "we," "us") collects when you visit kessara.co, join the Founding Circle, or apply to the affiliate program, and what we do with it. It covers this website and the emails we send you. If we add a store, subscriptions or text messages, we'll update this policy before they go live.

We don't sell your personal information for money.

What we collect

What you give us:

Founding Circle or waitlist signup: Your email address, the "what are you building for" answer you choose (if any), and the date you signed up
Affiliate application: Your name, email, main platform and handle, other platforms, your audience's age range and main interest, a short description of your audience, and any note you add
Emails to us: Whatever you choose to include

What's collected automatically:

How you found us. The campaign tags in the link you clicked (for example, that you came from Instagram or a creator), or the site that sent you. We save this with your signup.
How you use the site. Pages you view, buttons you click, sections you open, and whether a signup went through. This comes from Google Analytics, Replit Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity can also record how you move, click and scroll on a page.
Device and browser details. Your browser type, device, approximate location from your IP address, and similar technical data, collected by those same tools and by our web host.
Advertising data. The Meta Pixel tells Meta when you view a page or join the Founding Circle, so we can measure and show ads on Facebook and Instagram. We don't send Meta your email address or your doorway answer.

To understand which pages and messages are useful, and fix what isn't

To keep the site secure and working

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run KESSARA, and only for the reasons above:

Klaviyo: Stores our email list and affiliate applications, and sends our emails
Google (Google Analytics): Website analytics
Microsoft (Clarity): Website analytics and session recordings
Meta: Ad measurement and targeting on Facebook and Instagram
Replit: Hosts the website and provides basic analytics

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.

We don't sell your personal information for money. Using the Meta Pixel for targeted ads may count as "sharing" or "selling" under some state laws. You can opt out (see below).

Cookies, pixels and ads

The site uses cookies and similar tools from Google, Microsoft and Meta. They remember your visit, measure how the site is used, and let us show ads to people who've visited. We also keep a note in your browser of how you arrived, for the length of your visit, so we can credit the right source if you sign up.

You can control these:

Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
Manage Meta ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
Use a browser or extension that sends a Global Privacy Control signal. We treat it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising for that browser.
Email us and we'll opt you out of targeted advertising.

Your choices and rights

Emails. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Use it anytime, and we'll stop within 10 business days.

Your privacy rights. Depending on where you live, including Colorado and other states with privacy laws, you can ask us to:

Tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy
Correct it
Delete it
Stop using it for targeted advertising, or stop any sale of it

To make a request, email kate@kessara.co with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We may need to confirm it's you before we act. We'll answer within 45 days. If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we'll respond to your appeal within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

How long we keep it

We keep your email and signup details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, then remove them within a reasonable time unless the law requires us to keep them. We keep affiliate applications for as long as they're useful for the program, and no longer than two years after we last hear from you. Analytics tools keep their data on their own schedules, generally 14 months or less.

Security

We use reputable service providers and limit who on our team can see your information. No website is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information will never be exposed.

Children

This site isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top. For bigger changes, we'll tell you by email or on the site first.
